Every month I have to come to Specialty Infusion, I really enjoy coming here, the atmosphere is very relaxing. Michael and Hira are always on point ready to help out and make the visit as comfortable as possible. I feel really lucky to have found this place. Five stars, two thumbs up! :-)
First, I want to be clear: Allyson, Angela, and all the nurses are always incredible — kind, professional, and genuinely caring. This is not about them.
This is about Vivo’s operations. Less than 10 minutes before my scheduled infusion, I was notified that my medication had not arrived. This is an important, recurrent medication that my care depends on. I had confirmed the appointment in advance and structured work and personal obligations around it.
I received no advance warning, no meaningful explanation, and not even a basic apology. A same-morning “shipment delay” is not a sufficient explanation — medication orders don’t fail without warning. If something was ordered late, processed incorrectly, or not properly monitored, that’s an internal failure.
Patients should not bear the consequences of operational errors, especially when continuity of care is at stake. A last-minute text does not meet any reasonable standard for a specialty medical provider.
Transparency, accountability, and respect for patients’ time and health matter.
The nurses and techs who work at this location were friendly, informative, and professional. I didn't even feel the needle go in!
One suggestion about logistics: give directions for clients coming in a cab (the office is on the side of a large residential building.)
They are excellent and patient and kind! I always feel welcomed and taken care of. Thank you guys!
This place was my saving grace when it was called Specialty Infusion. Ever since it became Vivo infusion my care has been ignored and mishandled in the worst ways, administratively. The direct services staff is usually always very good. But now I’m 8 months pregnant and cannot for the life of me reach anyone to schedule my final infusion before delivery. At first they blamed the delay on insurance approval for the new calendar year, but I confirmed it was approved weeks ago. Now there is zero communication from anyone. This is a serious detriment to my health and my goal of preventing the all too common post-partum flare of debilitating Crohn’s symptoms. I give up with this place.
