I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Pierce Deng and his entire team. From the moment I walked into the clinic, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Dr. Deng was extremely attentive, thorough, and helpful. My appointment was fast, but I never felt rushed. I highly recommend him!
My husband and I had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Sabrina Popatia and her outstanding nurse, Tangila.
The front desk staff greets you with a kind smile and guides you through check in process.
And then there is nurse Tangila, whose warmth makes the whole experience feel less clinical and more human. She is so good at what she does that you instantly trust her, and she naturally becomes part of your care team, standing right beside the doctor to make sure you feel comfortable and supported.
When I thought it could not get any better, then came Dr. Popatia, the queen herself, cared for me and my husband with a compassion and confidence that lifted our spirits and made us feel genuinely protected. She was so personable, gentle, and kind that we could not help but call her our “one of one dermatologist angel.” Her presence did not just comfort us, but it transformed the entire experience, making us feel safe, understood, and truly cared for.
We highly recommend nurse Tangila and Dr. Popatia for all you skin care needs. You will NOT be disappointed.
Dear Team,
I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for Dr.Sabrina Popatia.
From the very beginning of my treatment, Dr. Popatia has consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine compassion. One thing I especially appreciate is how clearly her schedule is displayed on the website, making it easy for patients to see her availability and access care when needed.
What truly sets Dr. Popatia apart is her kindness and the warm, welcoming environment she creates. Every visit feels comfortable and personal because she greets me with warmth and familiarity, making me feel valued as a patient rather than just another appointment on the schedule.
Over time, Dr.Popatia has built a relationship of trust through her expertise and thoughtful medical decisions. When I first came under her care, I was struggling with severe cystic acne and required injections for painful cysts and abscesses. Thanks to her knowledge, dedication, and treatment plan, my skin has improved tremendously. Today, I have beautiful, healthy, and well-maintained skin, and I am incredibly grateful for the confidence this has given me.
Thank you, Dr. Popatia, for your expertise, compassion, and commitment to your patients. Your care has made a meaningful difference in my life, and I truly appreciate everything you have done for me.
Also special shout out to the special reception the real super hero ! thanks for always keeping the clinic running effortlessly. Having a positive attitude , welcoming demeanor and a problem solving work ethic comes a long way ! it is always a pleasure to visit the Delancey location !
Best regards,
Amarilys Lilly Almonte
I’ve been receiving UVB light therapy several times a week. Two of my sessions were billed to my insurance as CPT 96910, a code for phototherapy with tar or petrolatum applied by staff, even though nothing was applied to my skin. Those sessions cost me $173 each, while another light-only session with the same treatment was billed at about $33. Another appointment was scheduled under the 96910 code before I even arrived.
I was also told I couldn’t continue treatment until I paid the disputed balance. I emailed billing twice without a reply, and the front desk said they couldn’t give me billing contact information. I only learned about a much cheaper self-pay option from my provider, not at check-in.
If you’re getting phototherapy here, check your EOBs carefully, ask what code will be billed, and ask about the self-pay price before your first session.
I am not usually one to leave bad reviews, but unfortunately my experience was in line with every other poor review given by others. I scheduled a 9am appointment but the office doors were closed when I got there at 8:45am as requested by their confirmation email. When I was let in at 9:20, I had to wait another 10 minutes as the receptionist had still not arrived and the provider could not access the intake system. I saw the provider for a consultation that lasted less than 10 minutes and was on my way.
I was just charged $260+ two weeks after my appointment. Please heed the warnings left by others and avoid this practice.
