I deeply admire the communication, the care, empathy and consistency of their healthcare services. And Dr Crystal Chung is an incredible PA. She deeply analyses and diagnoses her patients and prescribes medicine and treatment based on evidence. She also regularly promotes a healthy diet and lifestyle over lifelong dependence on Medications. Her family medicine approach is key to an amazing healthy life. I absolutely recommend.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Hanif and will not be returning.

Her demeanor was cold, condescending, and dismissive—the opposite of the compassionate care the practice advertises. More concerning was how minimal the actual care felt. I specifically told her I thought I might be experiencing heart palpitations. Although an EKG was performed as part of the practice’s standard annual exam, she never listened to my heart or otherwise performed a physical examination. My routine annual screenings weren’t discussed either.

Dr. Hanif also told me she would only prescribe my longstanding maintenance medications three months at a time, requiring follow-up every three months rather than the annual management I had previously received. Who wants to see a doctor who keeps you waiting every 3 months??

The experience left me with so little confidence in my care that I paid out of pocket to return to my previous primary-care provider, who is now out of network, to take over my care and bloodwork follow-up.

Despite having my complete medication and health history, Dr. Hanif did not order several blood tests related to my current treatment that my previous provider flagged as important, requiring me to return to the lab for another blood draw.

The follow-through was equally poor. When I asked the office to send my bloodwork to my previous provider, they sent incomplete results despite knowing they hadn’t collected enough blood and that I had subsequently gone to the lab directly. My previous provider immediately questioned the results, and I ultimately had to show her the correct ones from my phone.

Between the dismissive bedside manner, minimal examination, incomplete preventive care, unnecessary inconvenience, and poor handling of my records, this experience was unacceptable to me. I chose this practice partly because it emphasizes compassion. My experience could not have been more different.

Took a little be to get a hold of someone, however, once I did they were great. I was able to set an appointment on the same day and feel really support. Thank you Alex as well for helping me.

I highly recommend Dr. Syra Hanif . She is caring, professional, and always takes the time to explain my blood work and answer my questions. Whenever I need a prescription urgently, she sends it to my pharmacy promptly. I always feel comfortable with her and truly appreciate the care she provides.

MMA is consistently an excellent place for all my healthcare needs. I spoke to Christopher earlier today and his efficiency was impeccable! Not only was he able to instantly send over all my required documents, but he patiently waited on call with me to make sure I received them and ensure I don't have any additional questions.
