Anna is very professional, gentle, and knowledgeable. She truly cares about her clients and takes the time to make sure they achieve the best possible results. I unfortunately would not recommend New You Laser based on my experience.
While the staff was always kind, I ultimately left questioning whether the treatments I received were appropriate. I originally came in for a few target areas but I was sold on a full-body laser package because I was told it was the most cost-effective option. I specifically asked about treating my upper back, shoulders, upper neck, and lower back, even though the hair there wasn’t dark or coarse, and was assured it would disappear in those areas. Instead, the opposite happened - I developed darker, thicker hair in areas that were never a problem before.
When I brought it up, I was told it was likely hormonal. After seeing multiple doctors, my hormone levels were confirmed to be normal. I then consulted a dermatologist and laser specialist, who told me the hair growth was consistent with paradoxical hypertrichosis (paradoxical hair stimulation), a known complication of laser hair removal, and that those areas generally should not have been treated.
I called New You Laser and later sent a detailed email hoping to discuss the situation and a possible partial refund, but I never received a response.
I’ve spent thousands of dollars on treatments here and am now paying hundreds of dollars per session elsewhere to correct hair growth I didn’t have before. I understand complications can happen, but the lack of communication and accountability after years as a client was extremely disappointing.
Kate does a wonderful job with my laser hair removal. I ask for her every time because she spent extra time during my first appointment to shave more thoroughly since I came with stubbly legs and didn’t realize how important that was prior to my visit. She is honest, thorough, professional and kind. I’m happy so far with the results
I had such a great experience here! Linda did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire appointment. The receptionist was also so sweet and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Everyone was so kind and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!
I honestly can’t believe the difference after just one session. I had laser done on my shoulders and had zero issues afterward, no irritation or problems at all. The results have already been amazing and I’m seeing way less hair than I expected this early on. Really impressed and definitely looking forward to the rest of my sessions. Very professional and caring place
