Paid $6k for a treatment I was assured delivered long lasting effects. The owner is well aware this treatment only “works” when clients follow strict diet and lymphatic draining protocols because in fact the diet and lymphatic drainage is what delivers the results.

When purchasing this treatment I was told it would target 30-40% of the fat in my midsection, I was told it would kill fat cells not just reduce them, and I was shown incredible before and after pictures.

None of these statements would turn out to be true. Throughout the process I was delivered pieces of information that would have 100% dissuaded me from going through with this treatment. For example I was told one of the clients that had the most successful transformation was actually engaging in very harmful practices e.g barely eating, working out excessively, and going to the sauna every single day. This client also paid for MULTIPLE treatments and I was lead to believe she only completed one
package, initially

Additionally when I first met with the owner I told her I would think about it. She then had me complete the form for the payment plan “just to see if I qualified”. I did qualify … and then she sort of pushed me to just sign up to pay saying “it may reject you next time since you already applied” … leaving me feeling a bit backed into a corner.

I am not at all saying none of their treatments work but I am saying the treatment I received did not work as well as they claimed initially when they were getting me to purchase the treatment…. Additionally I am saying I was given additional nuggets of information later on in the process that I believe were intended to soothe the obvious anger I was going to feel in the end when I did not get the results I was expecting. For me that is incredibly disingenuous and a bit scammy if I am being honest.

I don’t mind paying thousands for treatments but I do expect open and honest communication regarding the treatments effectiveness. On both counts they fall short of this.

The BEST medspa in NYC! Yamile and Daniella are incredible; truly beautiful people inside and out! Love love love going in for treatments, they know exactly what you need and how to make you feel confident and gorgeous! I’m so excited to start my wedding prep journey with them!!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experience with NYC Body! 🥹🤍✨ I came here consistently for about four months, and I’m beyond happy with my results. I lost 25 pounds, and seeing my before and after pictures honestly shocked me. I can’t believe the difference!

During my time here, I did laser lipolysis fat elimination, body sculpting, pressotherapy treatments, and some of the capsule treatments. Everything together really helped me with those stubborn areas that were so difficult for me to get rid of.

Losing weight and getting rid of stubborn fat in my 30s has NOT been easy. My metabolism isn’t what it used to be, working out feels different now, and between school, work, and everything else I have going on, I don’t always have the time or energy to stay as consistent as I would like. That’s one of the reasons I loved coming here. It made the process feel almost effortless. I could come in, relax, and let the body contouring specialists do their thing. 😂🤍

And the staff? AMAZING! Everyone was so sweet, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I especially have to shout out Jordan because she was absolutely awesome. I adore her! The owner’s daughter was also amazing, and honestly, everyone there treated me so well.

For me, this was 100% worth the money, and I would definitely go back again, especially for the capsule treatments! My results gave me an extra boost of confidence and motivation. Now I actually WANT to keep going to the gym, eat healthier, maintain my results, and keep my body in shape. I even feel more confident dressing up again! 🥹✨

Thank you, NYC Body, for helping make this journey so much easier for me and for giving me that extra push I needed. You didn’t just help me with my body, you helped bring back a confidence and motivation that I had been missing for a while.

I’m SOOOOO HAPPY with my results!!! 😭🤍✨ Definitely worth it!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this spa. The skin tightening and fat reduction treatments are beyond impressive. The results have honestly exceeded what I ever expected. I can already see such a difference in my body and in how my skin looks, and for the first time in a long time, I feel confident again. That alone is priceless. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Every single person on the team is warm, welcoming, and truly cares. And Yamile deserves special recognition. She is the most honest and sincere person I’ve ever encountered in this industry. She never overpromises. She explains everything clearly, and you can feel how much she genuinely wants you to get real results. There is zero pressure, just pure professionalism mixed with heart. I am so grateful I chose to come here. The treatments have already given me back confidence I thought I had lost forever, and I’m excited for my ongoing results. Such an inviting, comfortable spa. The treatment was was not only incredibly effective but Daniella made the entire experience accessible and enjoyable.
